coaching that captures the shift

turn aliveness into action

Aliveness experienced on a life-activating trip is one thing; bringing it home and weaving it into the old patterns and routines of everyday life is another.

With the expert guidance and support of Intuitive Leadership Coach, Sara Walshe, you will capture the magic of the trip, alchemize it into action, and implement it to create lasting shifts. Leave with a clear sense of direction and with actionable steps to move forward with confidence. For example:

  • If you arrive feeling stalled in your career, you will leave knowing what the next 3 rungs up the ladder are and empowered to make the climb upward.

  • If you arrive burnt out from the unrelenting pace of life, you will leave with restored energy, equipped with the tools to maintain balance, and the know how to implement - and stick to - boundaries that prevent depletion.

  • If you arrive with imposter syndrome, you will leave with a clear understanding of the WHY behind this self-protection mechanism, embodied self-worth, and daily behavior changes to acquire earned confidence.

Coaching Program Details

  • Set clear intentions before you board so you arrive ready for transformation

  • Introductions, group agreements, and a complimentary champagne toast as we set sail into the greatest unknown

  • Each morning we’ll start the day with a new mindfulness tool, leaving with you with a tool box full of options to take with you. Ranging from breathwork, to meditation, to reflective writing, to on-deck yoga.

  • We will gather for three hour-long learning sessions: 1. Intuition is an Algorithm: The Neuroscience of Intuition; 2. Collaborating with Your Inner Sabatoeur: Getting Out of Your Own Way; 3. Closing the Gap Between Here and You Want to Be

  • Integrate your experience in real-time. Use this time to get coached on whatever comes up for you on the expedition; from processing newly-excavated emotions to exploring revelations and insights. This time is for you - to meet you where you are.

  • Witness and be witnessed; breakthrough happens in community. Join your fellow travelers for shared experience, validation, broadening of perspectives, and strengthening connection.

  • Now the real work begins! Without the awe-inspiring backdrop, we’ll work to weave the aliveness of the trip into everyday life. Sara will serve as your accountability partner to help you create a clear plan with action items and then implement your transformation into your post-expedition life.

  • For six-months post-expedition, enjoy unlimited access to the Upswell Coaching Learning Library, filled with guided meditations, breathwork exercises, intuition-tapping methods, yoga practices, and much more to give you support in mastering the mindfulness reps learned on board.

  • Don a sealable & floatable neoprene suit and turn an iceberg into a water slide

  • Daily Zodiak exploration of icebergs and wildlife

  • Hot/cold therapy: Cold plunge into arctic waters, then warm up in the on-board sauna

excavate childlike play

  • Take a sailing shift - no experience required

  • Glacier and iceberg hiking

  • Wildlife spotting

  • Midnight poetry readings

  • Keep lookout in the crow’s nest

Your leaders

Sara Walshe

Sara is a certified Intuitive Leadership Coach, who helps people lead their lives from their inner wisdom, rather than their inner critic. The result is a transformation from sleepwalking through life, to living in full aliveness. This is indeed the transformation Sara went on when she pivoted from an 18-year career as an attorney and launched her coaching practice, Upswell Coaching.

Sara will lead an intrepid group of aliveness seekers to one of the most aliveness-activating places on the planet - Greenland! Through this journey, Sara will work with each passenger - and in groups - to help excavate their inner intuitive voice and design a life that keeps this voice alive, even when the expedition (and excitement) ends.

What's possible for you in your life if you carry the aliveness from the expedition into the mundanity of everyday life?

Who can you be and what are you capable of when you are fully alive? Join our expedition and find out!

Expedition Leader

Joe shutter

Joe is British-Brazilian bred, who made Iceland his home 10 years ago.

He’s spent many summer seasons sailing in Eastern Greenland and traversing the harsh highlands of Iceland. In recent years,he’s had the pleasure of developing his knowledge of the Arctic and Antarctic.

Joe’s affinity for the Polar Regions has no limits. Through his lens and many years of exploration, he’s honed the artful skill of curating positive and purposeful experiences which he takes great joy in sharing with fellow explorers.

Joe displays a gratuitous and exuberant expedition leading style. He believes fervently in enjoying himself and fomenting an atmosphere of merriment and jubilation with his expeditions. Joe strives to use his expedition time on the most remote and unique places and experience, but he’s always ready for whatever nature has lined up.

For Joe, seducing the spirits of fellow explorers and sharing in the wonders of the Arctic is his eternally-repeatable aim. Bringing people together with a common passion has always been his favourite thing: there’s a special energy in this that he’s never found anywhere else.⁣

FAQs

  • We get it! Of all the places in the world to visit, we unwittingly chose a hot button one. Firstly, we would never put anyone’s safety at risk. While we genuinely believe the issue to be stabilized, we will continue to closely monitor the situation as the expedition date approaches and make any route changes (or cancelations if absolutely necessary, at a full refund) as we see necessary.

  • By law, there are crew members trained to give medical care under certain circumstances. For serious medical needs, a medivac is available. For this reason, we highly recommend getting travel insurance that covers medivac services (not that we have ever needed it, but better to be safe).

  • The expedition begins and ends in Reykjavik. You arrange your flights to and from Reykjavik. We will fly you from Reykjavik to Greenland and back. You will need to arrive and depart with a cushion day on either end of the trip - meaning you should plan to arrive in Reykjavik on August 19th and depart for home on August 27th.

  • Yes! What a perfect way to escape the oppressive heat of late-August. The typical high temperature in Greenland in August is approx. 40 degrees Farenheit.
